Etok Salai

Ingredients:

400g etok (cleaned)
2 cloves of garlic chopped thinly
1 shallot chopped thinly
1 bombay onion chopped finely
1 stalk of lemon grass (tap / point)
Salt and seasoning
Chilli chopped finely
Water




How to cook:

Boil the water with all the above ingredients except the Etok.
Season it with a little salt and spicy broth.
Add the Etok and stir slightly.
Let it boil and when the clamp is opened, then you may turn off the fire.

Now, enjoy your salty goodness!!



Keropok Lekor






Ingredients :

12 kembong fish (if you want to use scad, its ok)
½ cup cornstarch
Salt to taste







The means of making:

1. Clean the skin of the fish and get rid it. Only take the flesh of the fish only.
2. Add the fish mixture and blend until fine or crushed.
3. Then, add the fish that have been blent it into a basin and add the salt and cornstarch.
4. Knead until all ingredients are well blended.
5. After that, take a little dough and pellet it horizontally.
6. In a saucepan, boil the water to a boil. Then enter the keropok that had been pelleted earlier.
7. When keropok float, it indicates that it was cooked and you can be switch off the stove.
8. Lift cracker mixture and toss well.
9. You can either serve it deep fried of boiled, based on your liking.
